Honnavara-Mulabagilu SH-69: Allowed for light vehicle traffic

Movement of light vehicles on Honnavara-Mulabagilu National Highway No-69 of Uttara Kannada district allowed by District Collector Mullaya Muhilan in the latest order.

A landslide occurred on the highway due to heavy rains. In the interest of public safety, the district administration had banned the movement of all types of vehicles on the highway.

However, temporary repair work has been undertaken on the highway and accordingly the Honnavara-Mulabagilu National Highway has been opened for light vehicle traffic. Heavy vehicles plying on this road should take the Kumta-Shirsi route. The Collector said in his order that the buses plying on the Kumata-Badala Ghatta-Dodmane-Siddapur route have been allowed to run on the same route as usual.
